Who we are

Community Crop is a volunteer driven - non profit community gardening society. Each garden site relies completely on the efforts of volunteers to build, administer, maintain and enhance them. Community Crop includes people who are gardening for the first time as well as more seasoned gardeners.

History

In 2007 a loose gathering of new and experienced gardeners constructed the South Garden. Community Crop became a registered non-profit society the following year and by 2013 had expanded to three garden sites in the central SW. We have a total of 126 garden beds.

Mission Statement

The mandate of Community Crop is to develop community spaces for growing food and increasing biodiversity, beautification, educational opportunities, and community involvement.
